Brian K Electric retrofit
When Brian K decided to retrofit his 1980 48ft Cheoy Lee Sloop from a Perkins 4.236 Diesel to Electric he contacted Aquadrive to help.
We selected the CVB21.10 and this sytem was added during his retrofit.

Navy
After installing Aquadrive , the U.S. Navy high speed patrol boats enjoyed improved performance with CV joints on boats originally built with universal joints. Personal reported a smoother ride with less vibration and reduced noise. The CV axles were then installed on 25 new 34-ft U.S. Navy water jet boats designed and built by SeaArk Marine.
Schooner Denis Sullivan
The S/V Denis sullivan is a 137′ three masted replica schooner built in 2000 to be used to educate people about the great lakes and sailing as part of Discpovery World in Wisconsin. It is now owned by World Ocean School and continuing its mission to educate. The 135′ vessel has two diesel engines and was originally equiped with an Aquadrive CV30 20480 system. After tens of thousands of hours, the thrust bearings were updated to Moduline B30 units.

Shoreline Sightseeing, then “Shoreline Marine Company” has been in operation since 1939 offering tours of the Chicago Illinois area. In their many years of operation they have operated many vessels and their current fleet of 11 touring vessels and 7 water taxis are primarily equipped with Aquadrive systems. Carolina 25
Engines with remote mounted stern drives.
In the Carolina Classic 25, the engine is installed in the center of the vessel, giving it superior balance, and handling due to improved, low center of gravity. The engine is installed 88 inches from the stern drive and the old steel tube CV driveshaft experienced “critical whirling” at specific RPM’s due to it’s excessive length. This vibration and shudder can do harm and generates noise. This shaft was replaced this with a new one made of a lighter composite material eliminated the problem.

The Dana Cruz is a 91′ River & Ocean going, live-aboard tug. Powered by three 600 HP CAT C18 diesel engines, this tug is operated for long durations without stopping. During construction it was outfitted with an HDL60.780 Aquadrive CV joint and thrust bearing systems protect the transmission and engine from damaging shock loads and shaft misalignment. They dramatically reduce noise and vibration, reducing crew stress and fatigue.
